Who is it for?

York Vikings Junior Basketball Club has sessions open to players from Year 3 to Year 13 and fields National League Teams in the U13, U14, U15, U16 and U18 ages groups. All age groups up to and including U14 are open to both boys and girls.

What can players do with the Club?

We run twice weekly training sessions for all age groups, led by Coaches with a minimum England Basketball Level 2 qualification. The U13s-U16s participate in England Basketball’s National League. The U13s and U14s also participate in a Central Venue League. Younger players take part in tournaments and friendlies, and a Central Venue League is planned for them for later this season.

Where are the sessions?

YVJBC plays in a variety of venues throughout York including Huntington School, York College and the University of Ripon St.John. The wonderful new facilities at York College are the venue for our home games.
